Pricing
What a website costs and what you get for it.
How much does a website cost?
Websites start from £730. A four-page business website (Home, About, Services and Contact, plus your privacy and cookie policies) is £880, a single landing page is £730 and an online shop starts at £1,680. The price grows with your number of services and any extra pages, the level of design and any extras such as online booking or a blog. The website calculator gives you an exact, itemised price in 5 to 10 minutes.
Get your instant price →Is the calculator price what I'll actually pay?
The calculator gives an itemised estimate from the same pricing the packages use, so you know where you stand before we speak. I confirm the final price after a free call, once we've agreed exactly what you need. The Starter package is a fixed price. Anything beyond what was agreed, such as extra pages or new features later, is quoted upfront before any work starts.
What packages do you offer?
There are three packages: Starter (£880), Business (£2,140), Online shop (£2,380). Starter is a professional first website, Business is built to win enquiries, and Online shop includes everything you need to sell. Each can be adjusted in the calculator if you need something different.
Compare the packages →Do I have to pay everything upfront?
No. Nothing is paid until we've had a free call and you've approved your quote. Then there's a deposit of at least 20%, and the rest can be spread over 12 or 24 interest-free monthly payments. If you would rather pay in one go, paying upfront saves you 5%.
How do the monthly payments work?
Using the £880 Starter website as an example: a 20% deposit is £176, then £59 a month for 12 months, plus £20 a month for hosting and your domain, so £79 a month in total. Spreading it over 24 months instead brings the website part down to £30 a month. Either way there is no interest, so the website costs the same in total. A bigger deposit, up to 90%, lowers the monthly payments.
See payments for your site →Is there a discount for paying upfront?
Yes, paying for the build upfront takes 5% off. Ongoing monthly costs such as hosting can also be paid yearly with the same discount, so hosting is £228 a year instead of £240.
Can I pay for the Starter website straight away?
Yes. Starter is a fixed package, so you can pay the deposit online through a secure payment link without needing a call first. Packages you can customise start with the calculator and a free call instead, and nothing is paid until you approve your quote.
See the Starter package →Are there any hidden costs?
The build price covers exactly what you choose in the calculator. After launch, hosting and your domain are £20 a month for business websites and landing pages. A support package is optional at £20 a month. Online shops pay their shop platform and domain directly rather than through me.
Getting started
How we begin, how it works and how long it takes.
How do I get a price for my website?
Use the website calculator. Choose the type of site, pages, design level and any extras, and you get an itemised price and timeline in 5 to 10 minutes. You don't need to give an email address. You can also book a free call if you would rather talk it through.
Open the calculator →How does the process work?
There are five steps. Discover: we chat about your business and goals. Plan: I map out pages that guide customers to act. Design: a clear, polished look that fits your brand. Build: a fast site that works on every device, with updates along the way. Launch: final checks, then your site goes live.
How long does a website take?
A simple four-page website typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. Larger sites with custom design or extra features take longer, and the calculator shows a timeline for the choices you make.
Can you build my website faster?
Yes. Yes. Priority delivery adds 20% to the price and gets your site built faster. You can switch it on in the calculator and see the updated timeline straight away.
What happens on the free call?
It's a free, one-hour video call on Google Meet. We talk about your business, your customers and what your website needs to do, I go through your pages and features with you, and I answer anything about price, timeline or payments. There's no obligation to go ahead. Within two working days you get a fixed, written quote, and nothing is paid until you approve it.
Or send me a message →Do I need to write the text myself?
You can send me your own text and photos, or add copywriting and I'll write the words for your pages. Either way I'll make sure each page has a clear job to do and a clear next step for your customers.
I'm just starting out. Is this still for me?
Yes. The Starter package is made for new and small businesses that need a credible presence fast, from £880.
What I build
The types of website and the extras that are available.
What kinds of website do you build?
Three main types. A single landing page (from £730) for a launch, campaign or new idea. A business website (from £880) with several pages that explain your services and turn visitors into enquiries. An online shop (from £1,680) with product pages, a basket and secure checkout.
Do you build online shops?
Yes. A shop includes product pages, a basket and secure checkout so you can sell online. I can add your products for you or show you how to add them yourself, and you can add shipping and tax rules, discounts and gift cards, product search and filters, or subscriptions.
See a shop I've built →Do you use WordPress, Shopify or custom code?
All of them. I build fast custom sites with Astro, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, and I also work with WordPress and Shopify. What's right for you depends on what you need to do with the site and who will update it.
Will my website work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Every website is built to be fast and easy to use on phones, tablets and computers.
Can I edit the website myself?
Yes. Add the "Edit it yourself" option (£240) and you can update text and images without me. If you would rather not, the support package covers monthly updates done for you.
Can you write the copy for my website?
Yes. Copywriting is available as an option, priced per page. For a four-page website it adds £240.
I already have a website. Can you move or redesign it?
Yes. I can move your existing content onto the new site (£120 for four pages) and give it a fresh design.
Can customers book appointments on my website?
Yes. Online booking lets customers book appointments themselves (£320). I can also add a WhatsApp or live chat button and a map with directions.
Can you design a logo?
Yes. A simple logo design is available for £320.
Can my website be in more than one language?
Yes. Multiple languages are available as an extra (£560) so you can reach customers in their own language.
Will you show me how to use my new website?
Yes. A training session is available for £60, so you know how to update things with confidence.
SEO & Google
Getting found online, and what to expect.
Is SEO included?
Yes. Every website includes Google-ready SEO basics so search engines can find and understand your pages, and it is built to load fast. If you want to push harder, you can upgrade to boosted local SEO in the calculator.
What does boosted local SEO add?
It's an upgraded SEO package for businesses that want to be found by local customers on Google. It adds £280 to a business website, and you can see the exact price for your site in the calculator.
Add it in the calculator →Can you guarantee my website will be first on Google?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Rankings depend on how much competition you have, the quality of your content, your reviews and how long your site has been around. What I can do is build the site properly so it has the best possible foundation.
How long does SEO take to work?
It usually takes a few months for a new website to build up visibility, and longer in competitive markets. A fast, well-structured site with clear content and good reviews gets there sooner than one without.
Will my website appear on Google Maps?
Maps visibility mainly depends on your Google Business Profile and your reviews rather than your website. A Google Business Profile is the free listing that shows your business on Google Search and Maps, with your hours, photos and reviews. I can set it up and get it verified for you (£80, or included with boosted local SEO), and add a Google reviews feed and a map with directions to your website.
Can you set up a Facebook page for my business?
Yes. A Facebook business page is separate from your personal profile. It gives customers somewhere to find you, message you and leave recommendations. I can set one up with your branding and link it to your website for £80.
Can I add a blog?
Yes. A blog or news section (£240) lets you share updates and gives people more ways to find you on Google.
Can I see where my visitors come from?
Yes. Visitor analytics (£100) shows where visitors come from, and it comes with a cookie banner.
Hosting, support & updates
What happens once your website is live.
Can you set up business email addresses?
Yes. I can set up professional addresses on your own domain, like [email protected], so you are not emailing customers from a Gmail or Hotmail address. It costs £10 a month per mailbox, which covers the email service and setup, and it works on your phone and computer.
What happens after my website launches?
Your website is hosted and kept online for £20 a month, including your domain. If you would like ongoing help, you can add the optional support package for £20 a month. Bigger changes later on are quoted upfront.
How much does hosting cost?
Hosting and your domain are £20 a month for business websites and landing pages, or £228 a year if you pay yearly. Online shops pay their shop platform and domain directly.
What does the support package include?
For £20 a month you get monthly updates done for you (up to 30 minutes), priority help from me, security and software updates, 24/7 downtime monitoring, a monthly health check with a plain-English report, and advice whenever you need it.
Is there a long contract for support?
No. Support runs month to month, and you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
How quickly will you reply to support requests?
Support members hear back within one working day, from the person who built the website. Changes are usually made within two working days and I'll let you know when they're live.
What if I need something bigger changed later?
New pages, features or redesigns are quoted upfront before any work starts, and support members are always first in the queue.
Working with me
